So it's almost the end of my 30 days of being really strict with paleo (at least for me...maybe there was some crap in some of the sauces or canned tomatoes, but I haven't bothered to look closely).
After the last Paleo challenge, I more or less stabilized at 134lbs, but that was with lots of "desserts" and cheating. I'm still not entirely sure how I'm going to handle the food envy that comes with having a significant other eat whatever crap he wants all the time now that he can't taunt me with the "you're still on the challenge...no you can't have some of my ice cream". Don't really want to go back to cheating all the time, but will have to work out some happy medium.
Regardless, I broke through my weight loss stall. Based on coworkers comments, I looked "very skinny" but the poor bodyfat testing guy looked so disappointed when he had to break the bad news that I was at exactly the same bf% as the first time he'd tested me (24%). I'm down to somewhere around 128lbs now, but the final weighing and bf testing will be done tomorrow.
I think the best thing about the challenge though is that I don't have to use dairy/carbs as crutches, I can survive without them, and most of the time it's not even bad tasting (though my boyfriend still claims I tried to poison him with spaghetti squash). I like the way I look, have gotten stronger, and it's totally sustainable, even if I miss pizza greatly. Hopefully I'll be able to continue to make strength and skill gains until I can do all the workouts Rx'd, which is my current goal.
